Sonic possible worlds

Solo performance

Harnessing and transforming the extraordinary resonance of the vibraphone using a variety of creative performance techniques, audiences are invited into a series of sonic possible worlds, each exploring the vital presence of water in our lives and environment.

Sonic possible worlds (inspired by the writing of Salomé Voeglin) is a modular collection of works, including where all is blue (2023) by Alice Humphries and Liquidities (2023) by Louise Devenish/Stuart James, alongside music by Kate Moore, Torū Takemitsu and more. Forthcoming additions to the project include works by Aaron Wyatt (2024) and Iran Sanadzadeh (2024).
